Born in Queens, NY, Troy’s passion for the racehorse industry began when his father introduced him to the racetrack as a young boy. He spent weekends and summers working on the backstretch before advancing to training, driving harness horses, and ultimately becoming an owner. In 2018, Troy was elected to the FHBPA board and also serves on the TRAC committee. A dedicated advocate for the Florida Thoroughbred Industry, Troy is committed to improving and promoting the industry with a focus on accountability, responsibility, and integrity for the horses, caretakers, and managers.
Born in Western Canada, Michelle began riding horses at the age of two and has never stopped. She holds multiple degrees, including a BS, MS, and PhD, and initially pursued a career in neuroscience at Johns Hopkins. However, her love for horses led her to change direction, starting as an exercise rider and eventually becoming an assistant trainer to Todd Pletcher. Michelle has built a successful career training multiple graded stakes-winning horses and is known for her exceptional ability to identify talent and develop the potential in promising racehorses.
